Continued use of EON-XR to design learning materials for primary schools in Vietnam
The vigorous development of science and technology has created multiple technology platforms that can be applied in many fields. In the new technologies, virtual and augmented reality have been concerned in promoting application development in education.
In 2022, professors and students in the Education Technology Faculty of University of Education, Vietnam National University made use of EON – XR to develop XR-enabled learning materials for experiential activities for primary school students using a 5-step method.
The application of EON – XR created XR-enriched learning resources that contributed to improving engagement, initiative, and interest in learning for students; thereby, improving teaching quality of Experiential Activities at the primary school level in Vietnam.
The team working on this project won second place in Vietnam scientific research award for higher education students, Consolation Prize in the Eureka National Higher Education Student Scientific Research Award 2022 and shortlisted for the Poster Award in the Eureka National Higher Education Student Scientific Research Award 2022. Their use case is reported here.
